| 1. Design one or more protocols for your N3C project using Protocol Pad, equivelent to an electronic lab notebook. |
| 2. One project, may be attached to multiple protocols. |
| 3. Complete Guided Steps to develope your protocol, in collaboration with other members of your research group. (1) Select from common study design types that can be performed in the enclave. (2) Define Protocol Sections, which can be viewed as tasks that are equivalent and translatable to scientific manuscript Methods subheading sections |
| 4. Automatically produce a Protocol Overview document. This document can then be submitted as a Download Request for external collaborators and as supplimentary material for journal submissions. |
