Access to OpenSpecimen

The information below outlines the process for access to OpenSpecimen. Access to OpenSpecimen is limited to users who have been approved for use on an IRB protocol.

To get access to OpenSpecimen, please fill out a Keck I.S. Form 02, which you can find here.  You may need to log in using your med.usc.edu email credentials to get access to the form.  Please ensure to complete the following information on Form 02:

• Check box for OpenSpecimen. 

• Include the IRB protocol # approved for use of OpenSpecimen

Once complete, please email the form to the Keck IS Service Desk email, ServiceDesk@med.usc, and also cc cri@usc.edu. Our team will process the application as soon as we are ccd on the submission to the Service Desk. If you do not cc cri@usc.edu it could lengthen the process time.

Please allow 1-2 business days for processing.
