SC CTSI Clinical Research Informatics

SC CTSI Clinical Research Informatics group supports the clinical research collaboration between Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Keck Medicine of USC, and Los Angeles County Department of Health Services. Our goal is to provide infrastructure to produce actionable information from data and accelerate innovation. We serve USC research teams located on campus and at our affiliated hospitals. CRI contributes to the development of standards-based, privacy-preserving infrastructure for federated analytics in consortium activities locally (LADR) and nationally (pSCANNER). We collaborate with other CTSAs and federal agencies in harmonizing standards for data quality, capture of patient reported outcomes and clinical quality measurement. Our investigators lead data sharing initiatives, national conferences, and tool development devoted to preparing and publishing data for de-identified sharing.
