Step 33a: Review documentation, and complete report request checking of if it is a PowerInsight Report find the correct Report Category for the report(s) you would like like (you will need this in the request form). Go to Step 4.
Step 3b: Review documentation, if it is a Discern report, you should be able to access the report with your DHS login from the Discern Portal link on the DHS Virtual Desktop "p0278 Discern Reporting Portal"
Step 4: Attach the report access request form to your DHS helpdesk ticket.

When you download data from the reports to the virtual desktop, you must remove all data from the report that is not in your IRB- and ROB-approved data specification. This includes removing patient records that are not relevant to your request and removing PHI that has not been approved by the IRB. After the data has been edited, proceed with your IRB-approved data management plan. If your study needs assistance from an analyst to comply with this security requirement, you may procure the services of DHS IT (Category 1 projects) or the DHS Informatics Core. |
